This is a re-design of the original ecoescape directory built here at Make Hay. It has an updated look and new features to help finding eco holidays in the UK even easier. In 2009 ecoescape was listed in The Independent's top 50 best travel websites and now it is even better. Leeds Parent Partnership Service

Leeds Parent Partnership Service provide information and advice to parents and carers of children with individual educational needs.

PPS Leeds have been using their website to provide useful information to service users, such as details about local support and events. We worked with them to develop the site further, allowing more functionality and ease of use for site administrators. PPS Leeds have also recently undergone a service re-brand across all publicity materials and needed a website re-design to bring it in line.

Climate East Midlands

Climate East Midlands is one of nine regional climate change partnerships in the UK working to coordinate action on the causes and consequences of climate change.

The specification for this brand new site were to create a credible web presence for the partnership on which to build further features and functionality. The focus of this initial phase site development was to provide resources, news updates and information about the activities of the partners and their projects around the East Midlands region. The existing visual brand was built in to the design and the content management system enables the Climate East Midlands team to update all areas of the site.

Wakefield Riding for the Disabled

Wakefield Riding for the Disabled provides horse riding and carriage driving for the health and well being of people with disabilities in the district of Wakefield.

WRDA needed to switch from their existing, home-made website to a professional but simple design to clearly communicate information about their work.

Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Parent Partnership Service

Nottingham and Notts PPS support parents and carers of children with special educational needs.

We conducted initial research with parents and carers, volunteers and the PPS team to gather their views on what they would find most useful in a new website.

There were some very clear outcomes from our consultation which led to this dynamic new site, providing updates on news, events and volunteering opportunities as well as resources for parents and professionals looking for advice and information. A friendly visual design was needed alongside a clear layout for visitors to access the many different areas of PPS' growing service and subsidiary projects.

Social Enterprise Support Centre

SESC have been with us for many years and we've been glad to see them grow whilst providing support and consultancy to the social enterprise sector.

Now SESC have moved forward into another new era we've been happy to develop for them a bigger, better website. This new content management system site (built using ExpressionEngine) provides even more ways for social enterprises and community businesses to get useful information and advice and allows them to give their feedback too. New features include polls, the info hub, the SESC blog and a free, exclusive members' area. SESC also use our Make Mail newsletter system to keep in touch with their networks.

Sue Royal is a professional writer and editor, providing writing services for adverts, newsletters, press releases and more.

When Sue approached us she was very clear that she wanted a one page web presence that she could update herself. We knew just what tool to use... Perch is a teeny-tiny content management system. Winkworth Farm

Winkworth Farm is an idyllic venue for couples planning a green countryside wedding. The owners are in the process of renovating a group of the farm's Cotswold stone barns to provide an all-weather function venue. The building will be powered by a renewable energy source and other green plans are in place.

The Winkworth Farm website is a 'first phase' site providing information about the new venue and services which will be available to book for summer 2010. It includes a contact form for anyone interested in making initial booking enquiries and a picture gallery of previous weddings at the farm.

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is part of a national network of wildlife trusts and the leading conservation charity in the county. They work hard to protect local wildlife through the management of over 60 nature reserves and engage the local community with education programmes, events and volunteering opportunities.

This content managed site was built using ExpressionEngine, allowing NWT staff to edit content in most sections. RSS feeds pull in news from their sister site, Attenborough Nature Centre, and vice versa. This site also comes with a new design, bringing the 'look' up to date.

Attenborough Nature Centre

Attenborough Nature Centre is an award winning Visitor and Education facility surrounded by the tranquil waters of the beautiful Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottinghamshire. It was opened in 2005 by Sir David Attenborough himself.

Attenborough Nature Centre needed a professional new look and a basis on which to develop their online presence. This included a re-design of their existing site and creation of a content management system so that ANC staff could easily add and edit content. Look out for new features to be added soon!
