Ask Us Nottinghamshire Case Study
Ask Us Nottinghamshire provides impartial support and information to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, and their parents.
We have worked with Ask Us Notts in its various forms since 2005 and we are delighted to continue to keep their website up to date with fresh designs, high accessibility standards and modern tech. The brief for this most recent project (almost 20 years since the first) was to significantly simplify the overall structure of the website as well as the presentation of the vast amount of content. Due to the nature of the Ask Us statutory service, they must provide information and advice on a wide range of education related issues for parents, carers and young people. This information is detailed and can be complex and so clarity is key.
We streamlined the user experience, providing immediate signposts and calls to action for the main three website audiences and eliminating any other unnecessary distractions. Within each of the main three sections, bold links to various relevant topics are presented, leading to in depth pages which are made much more digestible by FAQ style accordions.
