Happy Birthday to The Abdication!

Like we always say, we love to support and sponsor organisations that make us smile and The Abdication micropub certainly does that. Not least due to their lovely real ales (of which we are big fans) but because of how the pub has enhanced our little town. In just one year since the owners Matt and Lucy opened its doors the pub has given us all an opportunity to make lots of new friends and form a new community of neighbours who may not have previously known each other.

The pub supports local business too, serving beers from Nottinghamshire as well as throughout the midlands and farther afield. Matt and Lucy organise regular events for everyone to enjoy, like tapas fuddles, poker night, a pub quiz and Christmas get-togethers and eveyone joins in wholeheartedly. Best of all, The Abdication is doggy-friendly!

As part of our 10 year anniversary we thought we would join in with The Abdication's own first birthday by building them a new website and running it on our very own Green Hosting. We hope this goes towards building Matt and Lucy's business further so we can enjoy many more years of their fine ales and hospitality. Check out the website at theabdication.co.uk.
